Our therapists have specialized training in providing mental health care for ages 10-21 with a focus on providing quality mental health care for teens. They feel misunderstood. We have licensed therapists with the tools to support them.

How to Get Started

Step 2:

Schedule Intake

Intake appointments typically take 45-55 minutes to complete and involve gathering a thorough history and creating a treatment plan.

Step 3:

Watch your teen improve their emotional management.

After the intake, you will be provided a weekly or bi-weekly time slot (depending on the need of your teen). Follow-up sessions are around 50 minutes in length. Your teen will learn skills and tools to manage their distress, and will start to improve.

Types of Therapy We Offer

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    CBT is highly effective at teaching teens how to regulate their emotions by learning to identify problematic thought patterns and beliefs that keep them stuck feeling depressed or anxious.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

    DBT is a manual based therapy that teaches teens: Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Mindfulness. It is very helpful for teens experiencing intense or severe depression or anxiety and behaviors such as self-harm.

  • Internal Family Systems

    IFS is a depth work approach that teaches teens to understand WHY they act and feel the way they do.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

    EMDR is a very effective therapy for treating trauma and the body symptoms of anxiety and depression.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

    Our therapist Jenna Ciancanelli, LAC, is trained in ART therapy. ART is similar to EMDR, but is faster pasted and allows individuals to work through trauma in fewer sessions.

  • BrainSpotting

    Jennifer Salazar, LPC offers BrainSpotting. It is a more focused form of using eye positions to help process traumas and emotions.
